Elmshorn cover with Schloss Wilhelmsthal and Write Again slogan

An original postal-history paper object from the collection, catalogued as a commercial postal cover. Cover to the Erwin Glass family with the 80-pfennig “Schloss Wilhelmsthal” stamp. The Elmshorn 2200 cancellation is dated 23 October 1984 and paired with the slogan “Schreib mal wieder”; Hugo Bahn of Elmshorn is named on the reverse. The catalogue dating is “1984”, the country or postal area is “Federal Republic of Germany”, and the visible franking or postal charge is recorded as “80 Pfennig”. Condition is typical of genuinely transported and opened correspondence: folds, light soiling, edge wear and small opening tears may be present and have not been concealed. Front and back were scanned directly with all visible edges retained, without retouching or artificial restoration. Details that cannot be read securely from the scan are deliberately identified as approximate rather than asserted as certain.
