Canadian Christmas airmail cover to Hamburg

An original postal-history paper object from the collection, catalogued as a international airmail cover. Airmail cover from Montréal, Canada, to Erwin Glass in Hamburg. It is franked with a single green 60-cent Christmas/Noël Nativity stamp and cancelled in December 1982; the sender’s Côte-des-Neiges address is written on the reverse. The catalogue dating is “1982”, the country or postal area is “Canada”, and the visible franking or postal charge is recorded as “60 cents”. Condition is typical of genuinely transported and opened correspondence: folds, light soiling, edge wear and small opening tears may be present and have not been concealed. Front and back were scanned directly with all visible edges retained, without retouching or artificial restoration. Details that cannot be read securely from the scan are deliberately identified as approximate rather than asserted as certain.
